Visit of Locorotondo: Agricultural and commercial centre, characteristic for its territory dotted with "Trulli" and vineyards, Locorotondo dominates the Itria valley with its territory of 4700 hectares.

Visit of Otranto: In ancient times called Hydruntum (from the little river Idro which flows into the port) it was a Greek town, perhaps founded by Taranto, and then a Roman municipality; for its position it was a popular port above all in the republican Roman age for the relationship between Italy and Greece.
Visit of Lecce: The monument that best illustrates Lecce Baroque is the Basilica of Santa Croce which has recently been restored. The restoration work lasted almost nine years.

Wednesday
Visit of Ostuni: Ostuni (207 m, 33 551 inhab.), a town standing on three hills at the edge of the Murgia dei Trulli. The Mediaeval village called Rione Terra is on the highest of the three hills and surrounded by Aragonese ramparts. It has an egg-shaped streets, archivolts, outside staircases and whitewashed houses.
Visit of Martina Franca: Martina Franca, a pleasant little town on a human dimension, lies among the enchanting scenery of the Valle d'Itria in the highest part of the Murge, 431 metres above sea level, mid-way between the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic.

Thursday
Visit of Castellana Grotte: From the intriguing hill of Castiglione we proceed a few Km. Se to get to the Castellana Grotte. Castellana stands at the limits of an extended, depressed land-mass. It is the most striking example in a series of places that connote the morphology of the entire Lower-Murgia territory.
Visit of the grottos
Visit of Alberobello: It is thought that it has been founded in the XV century from the Acquaviva, counts of Conversano, but the town had his real urbanistic realization beginning since 1635 by the agency of the Guercio di Puglia, the count Giangirolamo II.
Return to the trulli houses
Visit of Polignano: It's a picturesque town (24 m, 15.859 inhab.) with its little white houses protruding from a high cliff, huddled one against the other, almost forming a single block with the rock above the breaking waves.

Visit of "Cantina Sociale" of Locorotondo
